| Girl with Tattoo A half finished sketch of a random young woman sporting a tattoo and toting a sword. Now back to trying to figure out why my site is loading so slowly. It seems like it is getting hung up on an addon to wordpress or something. I think Firefox may have something I can use to try to figure that out. My version of the Ultima Online Gargoyle The In Por Ylem UO Shard (2.0!) opened up new forums and the first phase of the beta two weeks. I had sent some pictures of mongbats to the mastermind behind In Por Ylem,Azaroth, and was thinking about the upcoming shard opening today,so I decided to make another picture (although poorly scanned) of an Ultima Online Gargoyle. I need to try my hand at a UO style Paladin or Avatar character in the near future. The title of this post was named after a piece of armor,Jaelen,my World of Warcraft Priestess, picked up in (what I believe was) the Trial of the Champion. It was my first chest piece greater than i200 aside from my PVP gear, and it looked good on her. Speaking of WoW,I have spent a little more time with my original (not so original) character on the Alliance side –Cern,a Night Elf Hunter. Finally got him up to 80 and had fun doing it. I made it a point to really read the quests this time through. I found that I had been brushing over the Lore of the world of Azeroth, and in turn, didn’t have much emotional investment in the quests that my character was asked to do. Now,with the elemental invasions taking place, and with the new expansion just around the bend,I’ve made up my mind to savor the stories behind each of the quests that are set before me.

A quick sketch based off a picture of Katy Perry, but with Kazola,Level 80 Paladin on the Argent Dawn server,in mind. Its a very generic picture, but hey,I actually put pencils to paper this week, which is a start. Now to find out what Randal looks like. . . .
An unfinished sketch of the lovely Claudia Black, once again, this time from a screen capture from Farscape Season 2,an episdode called “To Kiss Princess”,or something like that. It’s right as she is offering a vial of liquid to John Crichton which can determine if two people’s DNA are compatible. I didn’t start watching Farscape until I heard Ms. Black’s voice over work for Morrigan from Dragon Age,and then I discovered that:1) Claudia Black starred on Farscape and 2) I could so very easily watch Netflix on my Tivo. Easy peasy. Ok,I really have to finish one of these pictures one day,but for now I hope everyone has a lovely Easter. | |
