Modeled very closely off of another Elvgren painting, this is not shaded quite so finely as the previous picture, but still retaining as much of the Elvgren quality as my drawing skills will allow. I took a page from Adam Hughes’artwork as well and used heavier lines (like in the last picture) to give the figure a bit more weight. It reveals our young heroine Branwen of the Britannian Kilted Police finishing off a very-roughly-drawn-orc with, well, unexpected results. *cough* I was not satisfied with her original face so I changed it a bit within Painter. You can see a larger version of the picture here along with the smooth shadings of the Painter program.
I hope you enjoyed the picture . . . . Now to find another heroine to practice with. . . .
Time Travel! I knew it!
That picture is great! I shall show it to bran immediately!
Thanks,Klaitu
I should of spent more time on it like I did the last picture —it’s supposed to be a value study, not a study of Branwen’s physique. But hey,I only draw ‘em the way they’re described to me.
That is TOO cute
Feel free to practice on da GeeBee!
Thanks,Goldberry.
I was just thinking who I should draw next in the lineup. . . .*smiles and takes out his pencils and Goldberry references*
