Merry Fields Album Covers
Album covers for a friends band back in college. The last are pictures that would have been part of the inside art. Yes, Mike, you are still my friend even though I have been terribly negligent in my frienship duties! Ack.

The Fionavar Tapestry
By Guy Gavriel Kay. If you haven't read the trilogy yet, you need to. Tolkienesque in the scope of the book, Kay's approach is much more personal and dare I say, poetic. Check it out. For a full description of the mural here which depicts major events and characters of the book, look here, then spend some time looking at the rest of Deborah's authorized web site of this great author. The large version is about 600k for those behind a modem.

Comic tryouts
Samples from some comic book art that I toted around to one or two conventions to have the pros take a look at. The characters themselves are not original, simply the artwork. The first three are of a Rob Liefeld created group of superheroes, so all rights to him. The last panel is a shot from a four page Wildcats (copyright Image Comics).

Blackvod and Crimson Glory
Blackvod and Crimson Glory, characters created by Brian Stewart and myself are featured in the first two pictures. Well, he deserves more credit than I in the concept behind the two. Rogue-Grove is what we called our fledgling comic book "studio" at the time. Doesn't everyone with a love of comics do this? But why is it that I become a hermit after I move away from a place? It is an odd, frightening thing. Hmm, this is better in a blog than as a descripton of pictures. . . .

Other Comic Book Characters
Various comic book, and comic book like figures. The first, named "Powergirl" (who I believe now is a DC comic book character. I think) was created initial by a Paul Johnson (let us hope I got that right). We corresponded, he writing and I drawing, a number of times.
