• Digital painting done in Photoshop and Painter over 5-6 hours. An initial pencil rough was done prior to scanning it.
  

Woman (B&W Study) (5/2005)

• Painter 8, using a photo reference of face. The hair, as can be seen, was drawn from imagination. It is still unfinished, but this is one more step in the learning process for me. I am so accustomed to simple illustrations that it takes work for me to achieve any kind of realism. Something I shall continue to work on.
